Marshall,
Wondering if you could shed some light into this situation......if a player has to leave a game early, but it is NOT to do with an injury, is that player simply crossed off of the lineup or do they count as an out when it is their turn to bat?

Thanks

Jen,

A player removing him/herself from a game for any reason does not constitute an out. The batting order is compressed and the player cannot return to the game.

For further clarification, if the new batting order causes three or more males to bat in a row, an adjustment in the batting order must be made. Also, if the removal causes the team to go below the minimum of 8 players/2 females, then the game will be a forfeit.

Marshall
